This Is Me, Zachary Richard Breder
Hi, I'm Zach. I was born with a serious heart defect as
you can see from the scar on my chest in the picture
above. I am what is commonly called a "blue baby". My mom made this website so all my
friends and family can keep up with me. I am 1
year old now and even though I have a serious heart
defect, I am a happy guy who loves to laugh. If
you want to know more about me check out my pictures on
the left. BEWARE - the post-surgery pictures are very graphic so if you have a tender tummy you might want to
skip those. I've had two surgeries on my
heart so far. Hopefully, I won't need any more. My family always appreciates
your prayers for me.
For those of you familiar with my heart defect,
Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, you may want to read
the consultations my parents had with some of my
doctors. They recorded them and then typed them up
for others to learn from. Pictures of my heart the
way I was born and
the way it looks after my surgeries are under "my
heart problem".
I just have to let you know that the
Amazing Doctors,
Surgeons and Nurses at Miami Children's Hospital saved
my life. My parents are so grateful and we include them
in our prayers of gratitude every single night.
